The Gold Hill Inn Beer Garden is home to our long running and locally famous holiday barbeques and concerts on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, featuring some of the finest local and national acts. We also feature great local and national roots, folk and bluegrass acts playing most every weekend, weather permitting.
The Beer Garden stage is named in honor of the late, great Charles Sawtelle, one of the country’s finest flatpickers and special friend of the Gold Hill Inn. He played guitar and sang in Hot Rize, one of Colorado’s most beloved bluegrass bands, He also played with his band the Whippets and drove our old firetruck in the Fourth of July parade.
